Changing up your look
This one is always fun to do, and you can go as far as you want with it.
You might choose to give your wardrobe an overhaul, and add a few new buys or wear your clothes in different outfit combinations. If you go for a shopping spree, do aim to pick up one or two items that you might not normally wear, perhaps stretch leather leggings or animal print tops, anything that is a departure from your current style.
You could then get a brand new hair color or style, as this is sure to leave you feeling fabulous. Book into your favorite salon now and start browsing for hair inspiration.
Organizing and decluttering
There is nothing quite like getting yourself and your home organized to make you feel better.
The first step here is to write down a list of all of those jobs and niggles that you keep meaning to get around to. Get everything that is in your head out and onto paper and then you can assess which ones are the priorities and spot any tasks that can easily be delegated.
Next take a few hours to have a good declutter. This might take a while longer if you have not done this for a while, but do not put pressure on yourself to do too much. This is supposed to perk you up, not make you feel worse! However much you manage to do, remind yourself that you have still made progress and things are a lot better than they were before you started.
Last up, give your home a good tidy up and spring clean. Some of us love to clean, some of us loathe it, but most of us enjoy the feeling of being productive and having a lovely clean home at the end of it, so go for it.
Having a duvet day
Now, we do not necessarily mean this one literally, though if the idea of lounging in bed all day catching up on sleep and watching TV appeals to you, then go for it!
Take a day just for yourself, to do whatever it is that you know always relaxes you and brings a smile to your face. You might choose to catch up with a friend, take a long hike in a nearby forest, go to the cinema or curl up with a good book all day.
It is your day, make the most of it and recharge those batteries.
