All right, who doesn’t want a flatter belly? But how do you do it, practically? I’ll show you how to take the first step. Remember this little inspirational quote, “You get what you work for, not what you wish for!” Do you wish for a tighter midsection and stronger core? Me too. So let’s get to work. Join me in a 7 day challenge to a tighter tummy. Here are the rules for the 7 day challenge….
No sugar! This means no sugar in your coffee, tea, morning beverage. This includes any fake sugars or artificial sweeteners anywhere. Read the ingredients to everything, if it has some form of sugar – then skip it!
Drink only water. (with the exception of a sugar free caffeinated beverage.) No soda, juice, or powdered drinks. Drink only water and plenty of it! At least 4 water bottles in a day, but ideally around 6-8!
Exercise every day. I have a 4 step short exercise routine that is focused on tightening your core and abs. Do 1-3 reps of this routine every morning and evening for the full 7 days. You can adopt this into your regular exercise routine later, but for now keep at it diligently every morning and evening for the next 7 days.
These three steps will do so much more than give you a flatter belly. You will have clearer skin from all the water. The less sugar you consume, the more balanced your body pH level will be. You will have brighter more radiant skin because of this balance. You will also have more energy and sleep better. Without the highs and lows and all the mini sugar rushes we are used to – our insulin release and over pancreatic response will be balanced. We will calmly enter sleep cycles at bedtime and have overall more energy. This better quality of sleep and absence of that insulin roller coaster also translates into a wonderfully sharp and lucid mind! I am so much more effective at home and work when I have a clear mind. I can pray silently without getting distracted, literally, every 10 seconds.
*Disclaimer: Getting off the drug Sugar is very difficult. You will feel foggy and have intense cravings for the first 2 days. But it will pass. And what waits for you on the other side is SO WORTH IT. Trust me.
