Hello loves, let’s talk about one of my favorite beauty products today.
I have a new one that I am totally in love with! Where I live in sunny Miami Beach, everyone seems to have the perfect tan all year round. Maybe they have time to lay out by the beach or they have discovered this product, Golden Star Beauty Self Tanner Spray. I love the look of a nice tan, it just makes you look healthier somehow. But most people are sensitive to the sun, they burn or it puts them at higher risk for skin cancers. So what’s the alternative? Golden Star Beauty! I tried the product this past week and I am so pleased with the results. I took before pictures of my baseline regular skin tone. It’s not very pale but it is very light. I haven’t had time to lay out and tan lately, (I have been a tad bit busy with 2 kids, full time shifts on the cardiovascular floor, full time blogging, back to university for another degree, etc.)
So this is how you apply it. In the morning I showered, exfoliated real well, and put on plenty of lotion. Before I went to bed that night I evenly sprayed on this magical self tanner. I went to bed. In the morning I rinsed off and followed with lotion once again. Thats it! It works while you sleep, what could be better!? (On a side note, I did want to mention that other self tanners I have used overnight rub off onto the sheets and permanently stained my perfect white sheets. THIS PRODUCT DID NOT RUB OFF AT ALL ONTO MY SHEETS!)
As I sprayed it on, it didn’t feel oily or greasy. It absorbed very quickly. I rubbed it in with a tanning mitt, but you can use your hands. Just make sure you wash your hands well so you don’t tan your palms! After I washed it all off, it felt moisturizing, which is very different from other tanners.
Here is me before, all pale and sad…
Here is my skin after just one application….
There she glows, wink wink!

So happy you found a self tanner that you enjoy! Works wonders – your tan is lovely :).
I’ve also *thought* about self-tanners, but still hesitate. This makes me re-think it!
Who doesn’t want to have that glowing colour all over? I have only had one all over spray tan done. Loved it! So it’s got my vote! Meg – I see you home school (as you commented on my post) I have too. I hedge towards vegan / vegetarian. I also have a love of bohemian. When homeschooling had to help with our home schooling – wish I had known a great deal more – but you learn and are thankful for the good things and what you achieve. Have a Fabulous day!
