Thank you Brawny® Tear-A-Square® for sponsoring this post.
Think of all the ways you can Put a Square There!
Springtime is birthday time around here. Both my kids have birthdays in spring, just a couple weeks apart from each other! We decided to throw combined birthday party for the two of them!
It was a messy “arty party” at a local arts & craft shop. It was a huge mess and a huge success. Thankfully, we had new Brawny® Tear-A-Square® paper towels to help us with every aspect of the party.
New Paper Towels? What is Brawny® Tear-A-Square®?
Paper towels have been around for, like, 100 years or more. What could possibly be new and exciting in the paper towel industry? What is left to invent? I’ll tell you what – it’s the ONE thing all moms are already trying to do. I bet you have already tried to do this to your own paper towels in a rudimentary way.
Brawny®, in all their genius, decided to gift us with 2 more perforated edges! Now we can tear our paper towels into two halves, or tear again into quarter squares!
Take a look at this picture above. See how it demonstrated that you can tear the paper towel into whole, half and quarter sheets? This is Einstein level stuff, guys! Anyone else just whisper “finally!” to themselves? Yup, all the moms did!
Brawny® Tear-A-Square® Paper Towels at the Party
This year, my kids turned 6 and 4. They aren’t sit around and “not get messy” kind of kids. They wanna get dirty! So we decided to throw their combined birthday at a local arts and crafts store. They have every kind of craft tool and materials you can think of. The atmosphere is so conducive to creativity! Plus, they encourage kids to get messy – BINGO – this was the place for us.
Brawny® Tear-A-Square® Paper Towels at the Activities
The craft activity for our little birthday party was to paint and create zoo animals out of paper plates! The kids chose their paint and materials from all the surroundings shelves of craft supplies.
When they were finished painting, they glued on eyes and accessories. I was so thankful for the aprons that were provided, and the Brawny® Tear-A-Square® paper towels to help with the paint drips.
Brawny® Tear-A-Square® Paper Towels vs the Food
No party is complete without tons of food! Instead of buying a ton of cheap napkins, our guests were thankful we chose a more sturdy and absorbent option – the NEW Brawny® Tear-A-Square® paper towels.
We tore the paper towels, and then tore them again along the perforation to make little squares. They worked perfectly as a napkin and felt less wasteful than if we used the whole paper towel – especially for the kids and their little faces.
Cleaning up with Brawny® Tear-A-Square® Paper Towels
Speaking of those little faces, somehow little Walt got icing all over his face after “cake time”. I promise, it was so much icing it looked like a beard. This might be because he refused to use a utensil. Momma to the rescue with the small squares to wipe those small chins.
After the party was complete, we had quite a bit of cleaning to do. Just a damp whole paper towel did the trick! (I honestly only used like 5 whole Brawny® Tear-A-Square® paper towels to clean up the whole party because that’s how sturdy these towels are!)
Put a Square There: Brawny® Tear-A-Square® Paper Towels
Now that you’ve heard all about how I used Brawny® Tear-A-Square® paper towels at my party, I’m sure your mind is flooding with ideas, too. I love the option to tear away just a little square instead of the whole rectangle paper towel. It makes me more mindful with how much I use. If it’s only a little spill or mess, I know I can use a quarter sheet size!
I love the strength of these Brawny® Tear-A-Square® paper towels. But not only that, the flexibility to use only what I need (size options of full, half, and quarter) is a total #momhack! More Choices, More Tasks!
