Remember Sunday Dinner? #ad When I was a kid, I remember Sunday afternoons were for Family. The football game was over, the newspaper was put away, WAY before smart phones were distracting us – we would gather together around the table and have a family Sunday supper.
There were 6 of us in the family. Myself, my younger sister, my two younger brothers, my mother and my father. Today I live in North Carolina, My sister is a nomad, my brother Paul lives in southern California, my other brother is in Texas and my parents live in Miami, Florida. We are all so far apart these days and I long for those precious days of Sunday Supper.
I took this nostalgia and decided to keep the tradition going in my own family. I’m married now with a husband and two kiddos. I want them to look back onto their childhood and be grateful for all those Sunday Suppers!
So, this past Sunday, my husband and I decided to cook a yummy dinner that everyone would love. The one thing that unites this family at mealtime is: PASTA!
Thankfully, the Bertolli® brand is totally supportive of keeping beautiful family traditions alive with their new calendar reminder program for #BertolliSundaySupper! This calendar reminder program is easy to sign up for and use,

Ok, back to the pasta! Most of you know my family has transitioned into eating more plant based this year (2019). It’s going SO well. Usually for my homemade alfredo sauce I buy a bunch of cauliflower and make a big batch of garlic “alfredo” in the vitamix. BUT ,I have exciting news, there’s a super cool New Bertolli® Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower and Milk sauce that just made it to store shleves!
You guys – this stuff is delicious. I’m Cuban and I always add a little something to pre-made sauces. BUT this stuff needs NO seasoning! It’s perfect. It’s a masterpiece on its own – you gotta try it.
Here’s my go-to recipe plan for pasta nights. I sautéed some minced garlic, a carton of mushrooms & 1 chopped onion in a pan with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Then I added a whole box of cooked fettuccini and then POURED two entire jars New Bertolli® Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower and Milk sauce. It’s a one pan wonder!
Let me tell you about this new sauce! It’s the delicious taste you expect from Bertolli but with half the fat and calories. Combining cauliflower, fresh milk, and aged parmesan, discover a lighter take on the usual delicious classic Alfredo sauce.

I suggest you buy more jars of this sauce than you think you need. You will want it more on the saucey side! Plus, I used it to dip my bread sticks into – MIND BLOWN. It was incredibly yummy and I definitely ate more than my share in dipped bread sticks!
It was so relaxing to cook something the whole family loved. You know it’s good when the hubby and kids ask for seconds! (They probably would have licked the plate if I let them!) This sauce was such a hit!
Later this summer my parents and in laws are coming to stay with us in North Carolina. I am planning a big family Sunday Supper with New Bertolli® Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower and Milk sauce! I might add some grilled chicken breast or Italian sausage for my meat eaters in the family!
And, YES, I already invited everyone via Calendar invite using the #BertolliSundaySupper calendar reminder!
