This is our Chewbacca Spinner Suitcase exclusively from @AmTourister. With the release of Han Solo: A Star Wars Story this month, Lucasfilms wants to spread the excitement! They are asking the internet to share their best Wookie Roar or Chewbacca impersonation! (Come on, I know you have one!) Post, share and like using the hashtag #RoarForChange. For each hashtag use, $1 will be donated to UNICEF! The goal is $1 million for this humanitarian fund to benefit children and mothers in developing countries! Let’s join in on the fun. I really use and love my American Tourister spinner suitcases. I got a blue spinner early this year and I take it with me everywhere! So far it’s been to 3 countries and 10 states! It is my most travel friendly piece of luggage. (I actually donated my other luggage after using my first American Tourister Spinner.)
Here are the details of this new Chewbacca spinner: The split hard case is polycarbonate. There are large lining pockets and cross straps on the opposite side. The zippers have character co-molded zipper pulls. There is an official Star Wars ID tag included. The textured shell finish is scratch resistant! (practically kid proof!) It weighs a measly 6.1 pounds. The dimensions are 21” x 14.75” x 9.5”. This SHOULD meet carry-on requirements for most airlines. But always check with the airline you have booked with to be 100% certain.

Like I said before, the 4 spinner wheels roll in 360 degrees upright so it’s easy to pull, push, and turn in multiple directions. The push button handle locks when it’s fully extended, this makes pushing and pulling even easier. The cross straps and pockets keep your luggage secure and prevents shifting.
American Tourister has a whole Star Wars luggage line including, R2D2 C3PO, Darth Vader, BB8, Storm Trooper, Boba Fett, Imperial and Rebel symbol models! Whether you’re a Jedi or joining the dark side, there’s an American Tourister suitcase for you.

I personally hate to check luggage at the airport. This spinner meets the dimensions for a carry on – so I can roll it right onto the plane with me. I do like hard cases more than soft cases, it protects your contents and you never have to worry about the dimensions being off. It always slides easily into the overhead bin. It also seems indestructible because my two toddlers have tried! (Trust me)

If you are an overpacker – I would suggest buying a bigger size American Tourister. But as most of my regular readers know, I try to be a minimalist. I pack light and stress free. I pack all of my clothes and my kids clothes into one spinner. My husband packs all of his clothes and our toiletries in a second one. We both carry one backpack each filled with media gear, cameras, and laptops. And that is IT! If you want to watch a Minimalist Travel video – I made one in February 2018. It’s live on my YouTube channel. It also features an American Tourister Spinner. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?
