Day by Day the #DisneyCreators Schedule 2020 ON LAND
DAY 1: It all started Tuesday afternoon, February 18th, 2020. All the creators arrived to the brand new Disney’s Riviera Resort! There was a hospitality Suite open for arrivals to grab their welcome packets and start relaxing. They had a massage / reflexology room, a smoothie bar, and a “Havaianas” area where you could pick up a pair of complimentary flip flops!

After we picked up our credentials we had a quick lunch a “RIVA” which is the poolside restaurant and hug out in the gorgeous Florida sunshine. By the way, their pool is gorgeous!
At 4:30pm a concierge bus picked us up and took us to EPCOT via the “secret backstage” entrance. Here began our “Welcome Reception” with gifts and drinks. There was a reception and toast that was followed by an amazing family welcome dinner!

After dinner, there was an improv comedy show about Disney princesses and then they had about 6 Disney Princesses in character that we could meet and take photos with!
After Dinner we had some free time. The kids and I hoped over to the Frozen Ride inside EPCOT and rode Soarin’ which is the best ride in EPCOT!
At 8:30pm we all gathered in a VIP section for a dessert party and fireworks showing of the new EPCOT nighttime spectacular called “EPCOT FOREVER”. The kids and I handed out glow sticks to everybody in honor of #worldkindnessday!

DAY 2: Bright and early, the concierge bus picked us up at 7:00am! We were transported to the Contemporary Resort where we had a wonderful Breakfast buffet, followed by a General Session. I learned to much here. They had speakers from TikTok, Disney Studios, Disney Parks, and Social Media Strategists.
most inspiration part of the sesson!
Yes, I made a tiktok video with Ashley Eckstein and Mark Daniels: GO WATCH IT
Afterwards there was an open showcase with brands and event sponsors. This is where they gave out tons of swag, had celebrity meet and greets, followed by a raffle and a #HerUniverse fashion show!
4:00pm We were transported back to the Riviera Resort. My family and I took a quick nap and then headed to Magic Kingdom for the night! Here we used our fast passes to ride the best rides! We had dinner at a bunch of quick service locations, and then headed over to Pecos Bill where they had an “event-only” secret “Treat Pick Up” spot! Here they had all sorts of drinks and the new Minnie Mouse Chocolate Chip Fudge Cookie for everyone to try!
8:00pm The grand finale of the day was watching the best fireworks show in Disney, “Happily Ever After”!
DAY 3: The buses came even earlier on this day, promptly at 6:30am. We were transported to Animal Kingdom for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of watching the sunrise on Pandora (the land themed after the movie Avatar!). We had both rides all to ourselves and a huge breakfast buffet at the Satu’li Canteen!
For the rest of the day we snacked and did everything we could inside Animal Kingdom. I highly recommend the Lion King Show and the Safari. We also did the rollercoaster Everest – which was a little too intense for our kids but they survived. They are braver now for facing their fears! We hung out with friends old and new!

In the afternoon, we dropped back at the hotel for a quick swim, then a nap, then took the skyliner during sunset all the way from the Riviera to Hollywood Studios.
6:00pm we arrive to the entrance of Star Wars Land: Galaxys Edge. They closed down this whole area and cleared it out JUST FOR US creators! It was amazing! They took us straight into the ride queue for Rise of the Resistance. This is the newest and BEST RIDE IN DISNEY WORLD. It is worth the hype and the wait. If you’re curious about how to get a ticket to this ride, Read about it here (there is no standby line): https://www.megforit.com/rise-of-the-resistance-ride/
After we rode the epic “Rise of the Resistance” we were treated to a wonderful private dessert party inside Galaxys Edge. It was delicious! But after a 6:00am wake up call earlier that day, my kids didn’t make it to shows at 10:30pm! We ended up grabbing some yummy desserts and heading back to the hotel at 9pm!

DAY 4: We packed up and checked out of the hotel at 6am! 6:30am the buses came to transport us to Disney Springs AMC theater. We were getting a private breakfast and an advance screening of the movie “ONWARD”. This was a crazy wonderful movie. We all cried and laughed. I highly recommend this movie for families!
Read my movie review of ONWARD here!
Right after the movie we hopped into our car and drove to Port Canaveral on the coast! We were about to board the Disney Dream Cruise Ship!
12pm: We walked onto the ship and had lunch at the buffet! The kids went to the pool and then I headed to a “Welcome Reception” for the influencers. We had some desserts and champagne while we danced with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy!
3:30pm was the mandatory assembly drill. We had a quick tour of the ship and the kids club (Oceanears Club) which offers free childcare onboard.
Then we showered and got dressed for Dinner at “Animators Palate”. This is an animation themed restaurant with a unique dinner show starring Disney Characters!
After dinner we attended the dinner show “The Golden Mickey’s” in the Walt Disney Theatre. This broadway-like show was a delightful celebration of the mouse that started it all!
DAY 5: Our ship docked in the Bahamas, Nassau. The kids went to the Oceanears Club and my husband and I walked off the ship to Nassau. We explored the city, did a little souvenir shopping and then headed back to the boat to pick up the kids for lunch! We had so much fun exploring the ship, trying out the water slides and having endless ice cream cones!
The afternoon was filled with pool time and more ice cream!
Dinner was at the Enchanted Garden on this saturday night (you eat at a different restaurant every night). This night was pirate night! The dinner was caribbean pirate themed, everyone dressed up in pirate attire! You are given some pirate bandanas in your stateroom on this day in case you didn’t pack a whole costume!
After dinner we attended the incredible broadway-like show “Beauty and the Beast!” This iconic show has been reinvented for the ship and it’s spectacular. If you only see 1 after dinner show, make it this one!
At 9pm there was a Pirates themed deck party and show followed by a Disney exclusive fantastic fireworks display!
DAY 6: This was the best day on any Disney Cruise because it was “Castaway Cay” day! This is the day where the Disney ship docks at the Disney private island. Everything on this Island is immaculate and Disney themed. Only Disney Cruise line guests are able to experience this island.
There is so much to do on this island. I recommend you do the waterslides, bike rental and enjoy the gorgeous beaches! At lunchtime there is a huge Family BBQ buffet for everyone!
Afterwards we hopped back aboard the ship, took showers, grabbed some snacks and then I headed to the Farewell Reception for the Creators.
4:30pm The Farewell Reception was a fond farewell with drinks and desserts. No one wanted to leave this reception. We all exchanged information, took selfies together and said our goodbyes.
Dinner on the last night was at the formal restaurant, Royal Palace. This is a french/american fusion restaurant where everything is delicious!
After dinner, the night closed with another show, Disney’s Believe. This is a wonderful musical story of a loving daughter who helps her father believe in magic again.
DAY 7: The last and final day, we enjoyed a quick breakfast at Royal Palace and then disembarked the ship. Disney Creators Celebration had come to a close. But I left filled with inspiration and new friendships, I was ready to get to work, creating some amazing content for you all!
How Do I Get Invited to Disney Creators Celebration \ Disney Creator Days
This is the ultra popular question that continues to fill my DM inbox! After much research and insider info, I think I have some insight. (Keep in mind, these are just my own person theories)
To get invited to Disney Creator Days you need to do these 5 things:
- You don’t need a huge number of followers (although that helps) but you need an actually engaged loving audience that enjoys your stuff and wants to see more.
- You should be family friendly. I haven’t seen a ton of influencers that base their following on s*x, alcohol or adult content being invited to Disney. Keep it clean and family friendly.
- Create quality content. Try to take great quality photos. Write well and spell check often.
- Be consistent. If you are posting everyday then ghost the internet for months, you might not be taken seriously as a content creator. You must be active and working hard at your influence.
- Niche down and be obvious about what you’re about. You can’t be writing about luxury travel one week, then vegan cooking the next, then obsess over affordable fashion, then homesteading. Pick a main topic to deliver to your audience. Even if that topic is YOU. Be you, your story, not someone elses. You can try out trends, but be yourself and do not copy others. Be creative in your niche, really work hard and being unique.
Another big piece of advice is that you don’t need to spam Disney PR emails to get noticed. They have specific people hired to be watching the internet for quality influences. They see you, they are always watching. Trust me on this one. They see how you respond to that nasty comment. They see how you deal with sponsored content. Disney had ninjas everywhere – so leave the internet better than you found it if you ever wanna be considered for Disney Creators Celebration.
