What Goals Should You Make in 2020? | Printable Resolutions
Making New Years resolutions is a ritual that I practice every year around this time. It’s satisfying to cross off goals from my personal list. I encourage everyone to write just a few resolutions for this coming year. There has to be something about your job, living situation, personality, physicality that you want to improve!
We are so flawed and human, the journey to improvement is an ongoing adventure! I personally separate my New Years Resolutions into a few different Categories. The categories that I have divided my life into are: Family (this includes my husband & children), Career, Talent/Art, My body, Spirituality, My Home, Finances, Travel/Adventure goals all in this printable resolutions template.
Tips on how to stay disciplined | Printable Resolutions
We all start off the year with lofty goals and hopes. I wanted to share a few statistics. 45% of Americans make new years resolutions. Only about 10% of those people have the will power to keep them. I encourage you, PLEASE, Don’t be a statistic! Make this coming year an extraordinary one. As you create your goals, there are 3 things to remember….
1. Make specific goals. Leave out words like “more” “less” or “better”. Instead of “read more”, make a point to read a specific number of books this year.
2. Separate goals into categories. This helps you evaluate all the areas of your life. This helps you see where you can start being extraordinary!
3. Post your goals, so you read them often. I personally post them by my bed. I can glance at them when I wake up and before I go to bed. With my goals posted, I am reminded of where I want to be at the end of the year.
Before the next year is upon us, fix yourself a nice warm cup of coffee or tea and find a quiet moment. Reflect on the past year and the good that has come into your life. Quietly smile and learn what you can from the bad. Find more time for improvement in your life today by being intentional with improving your life.
You only get one time around on this wonderful carousel of life. I hope my writing and photographs inspire you to live a life more extraordinary!
