Epcot Food and Wine Festival| When
It happens every year at Disney. Each year they seem to make it longer and feature more countries and food! Celebrating its 23rd year, the 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will take place everyday from August 30 – November 12, 2018. All you need is an Epcot park admission ticket to participate in this delicious festival!
Epcot Food and Wine Festival| Where
In the Orlando, Florida -the Walt Disney World Resort has 4 Disney Theme Parks. This Festival will take place ONLY in the EPCOT (acronym: experimental prototype community of tomorrow) theme park. It is set up around the World Showcase area of EPCOT. The individual kiosks will offer international and regional dishes to enjoy. Small plates and beverages are between $4.00-$8.00 each. This is your chance to try recipes from all over the world.
Don’t forget your special “Food & Wine” Mickey Ears!
Epcot Food and Wine Festival | Tickets
Again, all you need is an Epcot park admission ticket to participate in this delicious festival! Don’t forget to pick up your free Marketplace Discovery Passport when you enter the park. You can circle the items and locations that you definitely want to try. I suggest you walk around the entire world showcase to see what REALLY appeals to you. Take in the smells and see what everyone else is eating. When you have chosen your top picks, you can go back and try the best of the best. This will help you pace yourself so you don’t fill up at the first few stands.
The best advice I have for you is to purchase a Food & Wine Festival [Disney] gift card to pay your way around the Festival. It’s much easier than trying to dig for cash or credit cards as you go from location to location. With a $250 activation, you’ll receive a specially themed lanyard and carrying sleeve.
Trust me, if you are hungry you will blow through you $250 in a day – easily. But if not, you can always use what’s left on the card at any Disney location (theme park, local disney store, disney.com etc.)
In the following video below, I spend a day nibbling my way through the 35 countries represented at Epcot Food and Wine! I share my top 3 most delicious dishes from 2017. Check it out!
The festival has been extended for a total of 70+ days all the way through November 12th. There is so much more to taste and savor in this epic festival. Come take a culinary journey around the world inside Disney in the fall!
I would love to give you a full menu of all 30 countries, but that would make this post a million miles long. I won’t make you scroll through all that. If you wanna check out the full menu, there is a perfectly comprehensive one on the Disney Food Blog. What I WILL do is give you some photos of the most delicious dishes to entice you to go check out the menu.
Aside from all the delicious food stands, there are concerts, classes (like wine pairing & cheese seminars), exclusive merchandise and cooking activities for kids. Celebrate culture from all over the world while enticing all your senses!

Ahhhh this looks so divine and exciting! I truly can’t wait to visit Disney World, every childs dream and well I am a bit over the age of a child lol. I so love that they have the $250 cards, it would make it so much easier to work around instead of looking for change all the time.
Super!
That’s the best part of Disney – you can keep your childhood dreaming side. This is the best place for it.
I love pairings they are so much fun and I am always amazed at how well the wine and or beer pairs with the food, even when it’s not a food or wine I would normally like.
That’s so true. Festivals like this can open your palette to flavors you may have never encountered. It opens your mind!
We LOVE Disney and the food and wine festival is definitely on our bucket list to do sans kiddo! Your post is great and makes me want to go NOW!! YUM!!
I attended years ago and need to make it a point to visit. Will take your advice and have a bite in India. That sounds like a good meal. Would also taste everything! Epcot is my favorite park.
