The rumors are true. I moved to Florida from the mountains of North Carolina, I sold the RV and bought a historic home. Whew! A lot has happened in the summer of 2020, so let’s recap!
Hi, I’m Meg! I lived in a Renovated RV / Tiny House full time for nearly 2 years! It was the most amazing little 360sq ft home I could never had wished for!
But times changes and needs grow. So we decided to move to Florida!
Moving to Florida | MEGFORIT
We were in North Carolina for a couple of years. We made friends and had a hard time saying goodbye. In this video I show all of us saying a tearful goodbye to precious friends, and then moving to our new state. It was nerve-racking to move the RV such a long distance, but go watch Alex do an amazing job!
We are totally more of a beach family than a mountain family! You gotta see this!
Selling the RV Tiny House
It was with a heavy heart that we decided to sell our RV. Whether you called it an RV or a Tiny House – it was home. We had so many adventures in that little place. It also took a piece of my soul because it was such a job renovating it at first!
If you are curious about our RV RENOVATION project, I have a whole series on my YouTube channel or you can go to THIS POST and see all the before and after pictures in one spot!
Watch the following video to see the process of how we sold the RV just in the nick of time. In the same week we were closing on our new house, someone wanted to buy the RV. Serendipity? Fate? Watch this and you decide!
Moving In to Our New Home 2020 | MEGFORIT
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I own a home. I didn’t think I would ever be able to own a home like this. I am so grateful for the story and blessings showered upon me.
In this video I tell the story of how we spontaneously bought a house and moved in a few weeks later! It was totally not planned and on a whim.
In this video, I show you the closing and moving day process of how these crazy tiny house minimalist move. Enjoy!
To be honest, the house was pretty fantastic and didn’t need much work. We did a few coats of paint, built some beds and then decorated minimally. Come watch the entire tour of my new home. I think it still needs some fabulous pieces, but a home is always a work in progress right?
So that’s our 2020-2021 recap. It’s been an eventful year and I’m only writing this in September! I can’t wait to see what the future holds. I am looking forward to making the ordinary extraordinary with whatever life throws at me!
