Here are 4 Rules of Design to Make Your Entryway Fabulous
- You want to feel welcomed when you walk in. You want your guests to feel welcomed when they walk in. Something bright and beautiful will accomplish this goal. (like these clean white walls, light gray floors, & bright red soft rug)
- You want to see something you love. I love this boho turkish style rug. It makes me think of far off places. I also love this Eclectic Vintage Octopus decorative wall hook. I bought it at a specialty shop off the beaten bath in the Keys. Every time that I walk in, I see it and smile. It reminds me of the sea and those fun travel memories.
- You want it to be free of clutter. Simple minimalistic design. Only a few design elements and light colors will keep your entryway feeling tidy.
- You want it to be practical. I NEED my keys, sunglasses, coverup & umbrella. I put them beside the door in an organized way so as not to forget them. But these practical items also play a part in decorating my space at the same time.
