Happy first week of October everyone!
Pumpkin Spice Plagues, a smidge cooler outside, Holidays quickly approaching…..
October is the month where you turn the corner to the long smooth road to finish of the year. I encourage all of your to look back on your resolutions, or make new ones now! It’s not too late. What do you want to accomplish in the last quarter of the year? Is there a book you want to finish, a skill you want to perfect, an activity you’ve been dying to try out, or something important you want to memorize? I looked over my New Years Resolutions last night before I went to bed and crossed off a couple things. I added one: I want to read the whole New Testament before January first. I read all the books I wanted to read this year, so why not be ambitious! #GoalDigger, right?
The end of the summer and start of fall and end of the year always leave me so introspective and existential. What has come and what is coming? Where was I this time last year, physically, emotionally & spiritually? (Thanks a lot Facebooks “On this Day.”) I can honestly say that I am in a better place. I have progressed emotionally, I have moved physically, and I have bonded with God spiritually. I only want more progression. Without stopping and analyzing our lives we stay stagnant. Like standing water – ready to breed Zika mosquitos.
Don’t be a Zika puddle.
Be a Goal Digger.
Since Right Now.
