A former boss of mine texted me today; I’m headed to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow for a quick day trip with my daughter for her bday. I have a web ex meeting at 12pm that I need Wifi for. Any suggestions on the best place to take a work call meeting inside Disney World?
Here are the best places inside the Magic Kingdom to take a work call. These spots are quiet and have great wifi!
Is there free Wifi in Disney World Magic Kingdom?
Yes, there is free wifi throughout the Walt Disney World Resorts & Parks. You just have to go to your wifi settings on your phone or computer and select the wifi labeled, “WDW Guest”. The wifi is complimentary and pretty fast.
Best places to take a work call meeting inside Disney World
I have 3 top places inside Disney World, that I go to take a work call or work on my computer. You can always go back to your hotel room, but why leave the magic if you only need to work for 30-45mins? Here they are:
1. Tomorrowland Terrace
Tomorrowland Terrace is located to the right of the castle. When you are walking down main street, take a right to walk into Tomorrowland terrace just before walking into the actual Tomorrowland. If you see the Monsters Inc show, you’ve gone too far!
Tomorrowland Terrace is a restaurant that does not open until lunch time. Right now (in 2020) it is closed, but you are still able to walk through it. No one will be walking around this area and normally, no one is around the restaurant until at least 11:30. So you have the entire morning to sit quietly and work. The view is spectacular by the way. What an office for the day!

2. Columbia Harbor House
Where is Columbia Harbor House? Columbia Harbor House is a restaurant located in the Liberty Square area at Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World Resort. The restaurant features seafood-based fare: fried fish, lobster rolls and more. If you walk down main street, walk up to Cinderellas Castle, make a left and walk over the bridge into “Liberty Square”, once you see the pillory or “stocks”, make a right and you will see the restaurant on your right!
If you go to the second story of the Columbia Harbor House, specifically to the area with all the windows. Get a table all to yourself and you can do your work here without being disturbed!
This area is huge, many people dine on the first floor so it’s rarely crowded, it’s air conditioned and the wifi is great. It’s also a fantastic place to watch the afternoon parades or people watch!

3. Contemporary Resort in Walt Disney World
Just a short walk outside of the Magic Kingdom is the Contemporary Resort. Exit the park, keep to the left, down a beautiful rose garden walkway – you will reach the main lobby of the Contemporary Resort. Take the escalators or the elevator to the third floor.
The fourth floor is where Chef Mickey’s restaurant is, Contempo Cafe (where you can grab a cup of coffee), and the Fantasia Gift Shop is. This floor tends to be a little bit loud and crowded. You want to go to the 3rd floor where you can find couches to sit and work/take a call.
I hope this posts helps you find a quiet place to take a work call or meeting while you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort & Parks. Disney is the most accommodating place with the best customer service. If you ever have a question or problem, speak up and ask a cast member for guidance. Have a wonderful visit to the parks and keep hustling!
