Picture this scene….. It’s 1965 and we cannot agree. The Vietnam war is in full swing. Back on US soil the civil rights movement is at its height. Race riots and anti-political protests are rampant. It’s a tense time to be on either side and everyone is hoping for a peaceful revolution. (Sounds a lot like today doesn’t it?)
Then, singer/song writer Jackie DeShannon writes this song:
“What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It’s the only thing that there’s just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No not just for some but for everyone.”
This song meant so much at the time. But If I may add to that line, What the world needs now is love and peace. With everything going on in this world lately, no one seems to be smiling. A smile is the contagious virus that our society needs. I think it starts with US and will get spread down the generations to our little ones.
We need to TEACH PEACE. Before math or science or language, our kids need to know how to treat each other. Yes We Vibe totally gets this message. They are a company that makes all sorts of apparel that celebrates the positive vibes are seem to be running low lately in this beautiful country.
Help me spread love and teach peace!

Amen Kyla! It starts with our kids. The next generation literally changes the world each time.
Totally agree. We need to teach love, tolerance, respect and peace. There is more to a human than material gain. What about helping one another and caring for the environment. Great message and lovely photos!
Thank you Angela, its the message we need to hear these days.
