I went on holiday to, what seemed like a simpler place in time.
It was a small town in the state of Virginia.
In the middle of farms & forest.
No wifi just wide open spaces
And it was lovely.
Have you ever stood in an abandoned house in the middle of the woods and heard complete and utter silence? Only the click of your heel on the old rotting wooden floor as you accidently kick an old ceramic cup left by the previous century into the sunlight ray that is boldly pushing through a cloudy cracked window.

Undisturbed. Undiscovered. & peaceful.
BTW – Virginia April is still winter. Low in the 40s?!? What the What?
Spring was in full bloom up there!
Collecting pine cones, forgetting that an ipad exists.

When all you gotta worry about is two healthy kids, a cup of coffee and your new favorite jeans……….sip & be thankful.
