We are so close to the new year! Are you ready to start fresh and get to a healthier place? As of January 1st, I will be starting the whole30 diet, based on the books “Whole30” and “It Starts with Food”. The tagline for the Whole30 books goes like this, “A 30-day guide to total health and food freedom”.
This will restore health to so many areas of your life. And the food addictions that we face today are real – whether you realize your addiction or not. So please please join me on this beautiful journey.
I am making it so easy for you to join me. It’s completely free! I have created a meal plan, grocery lists, and detailed recipes for each week. I have done half the work for you already!
Now you just need to follow the plan and have self control. It’s only 30days, but once you start to feel your body changing, you may continue even after the challenge is over!
Before you start Whole30
Now let’s start with where your body is now. How are you feeling today? Stressed? Tired? Angry?
Are you taking a ton of prescription medications to control your borderline hypertension, anxiety, diabetes? Are you spending a small fortune on beauty products to get glowing skin and softer smoother hair? Do you have chronic pain that you think you just have to live with? Do you have frequent unpredictable gas, constipation or diarrhea?
Sit down and write down all the things that you would love to change about how your body is functioning. This is important. Listen to you body. The longer you maintain the whole30 diet you realize the aches and pains will disappear, your bowels will regulate, your hair and skin will look so much better.
So take a moment now to survey your body function, so that you can pick up on the subtle changes that will be coming. Here are mine.
What I wanted Whole30 to change for me
In the next 30 days I want to……..
Improve: my concentration. my hair. my skin. my energy levels. my sleep quality. my patience.
Decrease: anxiety. my frustration threshold. my period cramps & PMS symptoms, neck and back aching.
Please share your goals with me in the comments here, I’d love to hear some before and after stories!
Can all this be improved by diet? Yes it can. I have done the whole30 diet before and wish I had been more diligent between then and now. But to drift and fade is human, right? We all have a starting point, let 2017 be yours.
