Start with your feet together on the yoga mat. Place your hands on your heart in prayer position and then raise then to the sky. Straighten your spine and stand up and tall as your can take a few deep breaths in and out. Place one foot on your opposite thigh for tree pose. Hands in prayer pose above you and then open your arms parallel to the ground. Take a few deep breaths in and out. Take one arm and lean your body the other direction, getting a good side stretch. This is perfect for getting the blood circulating in the morning! Repeat on the opposite side with the opposite arm. Open your legs wide and start side lunges to wake up the legs. Lunge to one side with your knee bent in front of you, your arms above your head and straight for warrior one pose. Lunge far down, bend your back knee until your back knee is placed on the mat. Reverse your lunge backwards onto your hips and stretch, hands in prayer postion. Repeat warrior and reverse the stretch on the other side.
Stand on your back of your mat and walk your hands to the front of your mat. Remain in a push up position and breathe deeply.Take your left foot and left arm and reach over yourself for a variation backbend. Please breathe throughout this pose. Stretch out on cobra but quickly, then repeat the backbend on the opposite site. Cobra again and then childs pose to bring back your heart rate. Continue to breathe. Sit on your ankles and lengthen your spine with your shoulders back. Begin to raise your hands slowly till your hands meet above your head, lower then into prayer pose and breathe. Place your left foot outside of your right bent knee, take your right arm and elbow and push against your left knee to complete spine twist. Reverse arms and legs and twist the other side. Relax and take deep breaths. Finish off with a power handstand if you wish! Thats it! It takes about 5-8 mins depending on how slowly you come in and out of each pose and your breathing.
